"Like a deep lake, clear and undisturbed, when the wise hear the Dhamma they attain clarity."
The Dhammapada, Verse 82
In today's sociocultural landscape, instability has become a constant presence. For many of us, this uncertainty hits home in multiple ways, leading to deep stress and burnout. But we do not have to wait for the world to change to find our footing.
The Buddha also lived and taught in a time of great upheaval. He knew that waiting for external conditions to calm down before seeking internal peace was an impossible task. Instead, he taught his followers to practice diligently, develop discernment, and cultivate equanimity.
Join us for this half-day retreat as we practice in community, creating a shared space for a collective calming of the nervous system. Together, we will explore these ancient teachings and learn to nurture a mind of balance, allowing us to respond to life's challenges with stability, presence, and ease.
