Loving the Questions: Sitting in Uncertainty

Dear friends, as we look out at all that is happening in our world, our hearts turn again to the refuge we share together. We offer this short reflection with gratitude for each of you.

Loving the Questions: Sitting in Uncertainty

So much continues to feel unsettled these days. The news brings more conflict, cruelty, and change at a pace that can leave us anxious and unmoored. In the face of such suffering, it is natural to long for clear answers. Yet the Dharma invites us to soften our grasping and rest in the space of not-knowing.

Rilke once urged us to “love the questions.” In practice, this means allowing uncertainty to open us rather than close us down. Even in a world where harshness is so visible, we can choose to meet the unknown with presence and kindness.

We may not have answers, but together we can offer steadiness and compassion, walking with open hearts through these difficult and uncertain times.

May we continue to open our hearts, even in the face of difficulty, and discover peace together.

Love,

Stephanie & Susan
